Registration Terms And Conditions

In order to provide a greater opportunity for more people to present at the conference, each accepted paper with multiple co-authors should have a different conference registrant. However, co-authors may appear on multiple papers.

Presenters of accepted contributions will have to be registered to the conference by  to be included in the conference program, at least one registration per paper.

Registration fees of all presenters include access to the conference facilities, conference book of abstract.
Students are allocated a discount price for standard registration.
All participants (not presenters) attending the conference will have to register as conference participants.
Presentation in the conference is not guaranteed until full payment of the registration fee is received.
Registrations cancelled or missed transfer will not be eligible for a refund.
The conference program may be subject to changes.

Full payment of registration fee is required prior to the conference. The payment can be made in the following methods:

Please use your name as a reference. With the Bank Counter Service, you need to upload a photocopy or PDF file of a bank payment slip to the system again after the payment is made. With a credit card payment, your payment is automatically approved by the conference secretariat if your payment is successfully made.

Registration Procedure

Visit the conference registration system https://buuconference.buu.ac.th

1.Click on “Current Registration” menu at the top of this page under the banner.
2.Click on an orange button called “Register Now”.
3.Enter your E-mail Address associated with your paper. If the paper is found, click on the link of your paper. If the paper is not found, you can register as “Participant Only”.
4.Enter required information. Select your type of registration.
5.Enter name and address you want to appear on your receipt.
6.Select a registration type. It is noted that the registration type will be adjusted again by conference secretariat according to the status and date.
7.After complete your registration, e-mail notification will be sent to the conference secretariat. After you registration is approved, e-mail notification will be sent to you. Your name will be appeared in red color on the “Current Registraiton” page. You can login with Access Code and Registred E-mail Address to get to the payment system.
8.Then you can make a payment via Bank Counter Service or your credit card. With the Bank Counter Service, you will need to upload a photocopy or PDF file of bank payment slip to the system again. With a credit card payment, your payment will be automatically approved by the conference secretariat if your payment is successful.
9.After your payment is completed, your name and paper will be appeared in black color on both “Current Registration” and “Current Proceedings”.

1 Submissions will be peer reviewed by conference committees, and accepted papers will be published in BUU2021 proceedings.

2 After reviewed, the editor will inform you on 15 July 2021.

3 Full Registration fees of all presenters include access to the conference facilities, conference book of abstract.

4 Burapha University Staffs: Available only if, after you have registered online, please upload a scanned copy of your valid ID card with expiration date to the registration system.

5 Students: Available only if, after you have registered online, please upload a scanned copy of your valid student ID card with expiration date to the registration system.

6 Participants can be made either online in advance paying, or onsite at the conference. Participant only fee entitles to the same benefits as other delegates.

Publications

All full paper submissions will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. One Best Presentation Award from each session will also be distributed at the time of the conference.

Option 1Publication in a Book of Abstracts. For those who’re NOT looking to publish their papers, it’s acceptable to submit your abstracts to the conference, which will be sent to at least two technical committees for a brief review.

Option 2: Publication in BUU2021 Proceedings. Submissions will be peer reviewed by conference committees, and accepted papers will be published in proceedings.

You’ll give the presentation at the conference if your abstract is accepted, but your paper will NOT be published in conference proceedings.

Presentations

There are two modes of presentation: Oral presentation and Poster presentation. Presenters may select their preferred mode of presentation at the submission time. The Program Committee will try the best to offer a time slot of the presentation in the preferred mode. However, the right is reserved to select the mode and time slot that best fit with the conference program.

English is the official language for this conference.

Guidelines for Presenters

Guideline for oral presentation preparation
1. Your presentation should be in English, prepared in Microsoft PowerPoint. Please kindly use the template for the conference (Download template http://research.buu.ac.th/web2019/file/template-BUU2021.pptx)
2. Your video presentation should be recorded in English. The length of the presentation should not be more than 12 minutes. Please upload an MP4 file (HD 1280×720 pixels) that includes presentation slides, the audio and webcam video of the presenter on the bottom left corner of the presentation.
3. Please upload your video presentation and slides with the file name as follow; submission code_presenter name (Example: Paper1_Khomsan)to https://bit.ly/3ym7SRZ until July 31, 2021.

Format for Oral Presentation
The moderators of the session will play the submitted presentations. You are kindly asked to be present during the live session via Google Meet to answer questions from the audience. Please access the live session 10 minutes before your scheduled talk. Questions will be monitored by the session moderators in the session chat and will be directed to you at the end of your presentation (3 minutes maximum for Q&A).

Guideline for Poster Presentation Preparation
1. Your poster should be in English and produced in A3 (297 x 420 mm) format. Please kindly use the poster template for the conference (Download template http://research.buu.ac.th/web2019/file/template-BUU2021.jpg)
2. The poster presenters will be expected to provide a brief introduction (5 minutes maximum) to their poster) Please upload an MP4 file (HD 1280×720 pixels) that includes the poster, the audio and webcam video of the poster presenter on the bottom left corner of the presentation.

No-show policy

If there is evidence that the authors failed either by themselves or via proxy to present the paper at the conference. The paper must be identified as “No-Show”, and will not be available on other public access, should it be the case. Registration fee is non-refundable.
